According to eyewitnesses, the clash started around 11 am when a swat team of policemen attached to Area “M” command, Idimu, stormed a purported Indian hemp joint around Agbole area of Ikotun to effect the arrest of some suspected hoodlums.
Their action was resisted by the hoodlums which then led to a heated argument between both parties that resulted into violence. One of the suspects was killed.
To protest his death, several youths with dangerous weapons stormed Ikotun division police station and attempted to burn down the police station but policemen fired shots to disperse them. #Unbelievable! May God help Naija.
