Renard's ultimate dream is to coach the Super Eagles

The coach of Zambia, Herve Renard has revealed that coaching the super eagles of Nigeria has been his ultimate dream. Two years ago, the Frenchman name was among the coaches listed for the Nigerian Job but Lars Largerback got the job and later left after leading the Super Eagles to World Cup 2010 in South Africa.

Golden Tulip, Accra, Ghana penultimate Friday, Renard said “who would not want to coach Nigeria?” in response to the question of whether he still felt like taking charge of the Nigerian national team.

When asked to mention three countries he thought had a chance to win the AFCON 2013, Renard said: “Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana and Algeria. He said he would not want to talk about his team the Chipolopolo, as according to him, “we may do all the talking now, but the playing is done on the field.”
