3rd Mainland Bridge Shut Down in Less Than 12 Hours

On Friday the 12th of October, the Federal Government announced that the 3rd Mainland Bridge would be completely shut down. It was announced that on sunday Oct 14th masses should  allow contractors do their concrete casting and also expansion joints which is currently undergoing repair works on the Oworonshoki-bound section.

The government explained that the concrete casting and drying process requires zero vibration and disturbance, Which is why we are shutting down the bridge from till 12 midnight.

Please motorists do find alternative routes tomorrow.
